They live mainly in the tropical Indo-Pacific, especially on coral reefs and in warm coastal areas.
Unlike the others, the tiger shark has a much broader range and is found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide, including the Atlantic Ocean."
The bluespotted ribbontail ray has a flat, flexible body and one or two venomous spines on its tail, used only for defense. It spends the day hidden beneath corals or rocks and emerges at night to feed.
The Napoleon wrasse can grow beyond 2 meters and live for more than 30 years; its prominent forehead makes it unmistakable.
The angelfish is recognized by the large golden patch on its side and its territorial nature.
The zebra shark has stripes when young, which transform into spots as it matures.
The tiger shark is a solitary, opportunistic hunter capable of feeding on almost anything it encounters in the ocean.

• Napoleon wrasse can change sex during their lifetime: some females transform into males when they reach maturity.
• The tiger shark has such a refined sense of smell that it can detect a drop of blood in millions of liters of water.
• The bluespotted ribbontail ray "breathes" through openings behind its eyes, without needing to open its mouth.
• Zebra sharks can regenerate part of their fins if they lose them.
